Computer Labs

There are CS computer labs on the second floor of the Computing & Engineering Building (CEB).  There is a lower division computer lab, and an upper division computer lab.  Only the lower division lab is open to students without a keycard for access during regular hours, and often has people available for technical support.

To log on to these computers you need to be a current student.  Details of account creation are here: http://penguin.ewu.edu/portal/ http://penguin.ewu.edu/labs/  If these are not current, details to set your password are usually written on the whiteboard in the lower division computer lab room. 

To log on using your account, you must log on to the domain "CSLABS""EASTERN" rather than the local computer

The printer is sent to a print job controller.  To complete printing you will need your EWU Student ID card with available funds on it to pay for the print job.  You get $9.00 each quarter from the Tech Fee for printing, which is lost if you do not use it.  When you hit print, you'll be asked for a job name.  Type any name you'll be able to identify, go to the print controller, swipe your card, select the job you wish to print, and hit print.
