CSCD 434 - Network Security

Prerequisites: A minimum grade of 2.7 in both CSCD 300 and CSCD 330, Advancement Programming Exam Clearance and Advancement in Major

This course explores practical topics in network security. Topics include policy and mechanism; malicious code; intrusion detection, prevention and response; cryptography and protocols for privacy and integrity. This course emphasizes the trade-offs among risks of misuse, cost of prevention and social issues.
