Robot and CIE/Lightsys

This is a POV file that creates a robot.  It requires CIE and Lightsys extensions, which have been provided here for download.  The robot.pov file has also been modified from the version on the POVs homepage to make installation and use easier.

CIE/Lightsys - lightsys4b.zip

Extract both ZIP files.  On Windows right click and select "Extract All..".  On Linux use "unzip " followed by the filename.

Inside of robot.zip is a folder called "robot".  Place this in your POV program files installation directory.  I have modified the file from the one on its homepage to remove a hardcoded folder dependancy.

Inside of lightsys4b.zip is a collection of  ".inc" files, some information files, and some demos, tests, and templates.  Place all the ".inc" files into the "include" subfolder of your POV program installation.

Now you can open any of the POV files and render them, or modify them how you like.  See the copyright/licensing information at the end of the document if you plan to use or share the resultant file with others.

Robot is released under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial ShareAlike 2.5 License.  This prevents commercial usage.

CIE and Lightsys were obtained from http://www.ignorancia.org/en/index.php?page=Lightsys.  The license which applies to these is unclear, but the site states all content is free for personal use, so long as it is not used on a site with any commercial link (including publication on sites with paid banners).
