This entry is a link to MANY very nice examples of POV-Ray implementations. Some use other tools as well, but most are strictly POV-Ray. Some do not work with the current version of POV-Ray. Try asking for help here, or asking the author what is required if there is one that you want to use, but are unable to get working. They are all released under the same Creative Commons Attribution license, allowing you to learn from them, or modify it to make your own creation, so long as you attribute the author in the manner requested.
