Review

MUST READ!

This tutorial is a "must read" if you wish to learn to use Blender well, and currently know little to nothing about it. It is very long however, so perhaps some shorter introductions may be desired to play with first. (Perhaps try out an example in the Examples section of this site.)

This is an outstanding comprehensive tutorial on using Blender, walking through the steps in sufficient detail for a complete beginner, taking you through all the way up to advanced techniques.

The steps should be followed in order if you are new to Blender and wish to learn how to use it. Blender is largely considered to have a very difficult to learn interface, quite different from most applications, and thus does not lend itself to skipping ahead and feeling your way through accomplishing tasks.

This is a very high quality tutorial, worthy of being a leading commercial product, but made by collaborative effort of numerous members of the community (credits are listed on the site, though some contributions were anonymous), and released for free to the be used by all.

If you want to learn Blender, you should follow this tutorial.
