About
This is a short film (about 10 minutes in length), which was made using Blender and other tools. Almost all tools used in this project were Open Source. The project involved about a years worth of work, and the rendering alone took months.
The detail in the film is incredible. While the effort it takes to produce such a work is immense, and any projects you or I work on will rarely compare to this, it demonstrates the capabilities of the software nicely.

You can download a low resolution version of this movie here. It is in H.264 video codec format.
This can be played with VLC media player, which is an outstanding, free, multi-platform, Open Source video player released under the GPL license.
