CSCD 425 - Database Management Systems
Prerequisites: CSCD 300 with a minimum grade of 2.7, Advancement in Major, Advanced Programming Exam Clearance, [CSCD 307 highly recommended]
Fundamental concepts associated with the design, implementation and use of database systems with particular emphasis on relational database management systems are studied in this course. Topics include database modeling and design techniques, languages and facilities provided by database management systems and representative implementations. Students will use a state-of-the-art DBMS to design, load, query, maintain and administer a relational database.
